PHOENIX (YBH) – U.S. Congressman Raul Grijalva has called for a boycott of his own state.  Mr. Grijalva, an Arizona Democrat from Tucson, has called for a “boycott of Arizona goods, services and tourism” because of Arizona’s new controversial new immigration law.

Grijalva calls for boycott of Arizona, the state he represents in Congress.

Arizona’s unemployment rate stands at 9.4%.  Calling for a boycott hardly seems like a good way to improve the employment picture in the Grand Canyon State.

The law, which will take effect this summer, allows police to inquire if someone is in the country illegally and arrest those without the legal right to be in the United States.Arizona has been hit hard by illegal immigration over the years.  Most recently, a beloved rancher was killed on his own land by an illegal border crosser.  As expected, the new law signed by Governor Jan Brewer last week, has sparked controversy on both sides of the issue.  Those for the law claim it was time that Arizona took a stand against illegal immigration.  Those against it have marched and even rioted on a small scale after the law was signed by Governor Brewer.

Arizona – Doing the Work the Feds Refuse to Do

Arizona, by enacting a strict illegal immigration law has decided it wants less murders, kidnappings, assaults, rapes, human smuggling, drop houses, home invasions, drugs, welfare recipients; and fewer illegitimate users of their schools, health care and judicial systems. What’s not to like and cheer on about that?

Grijalva is aiding and abetting illegal foreign national criminals. Federal charges should be brought against this antiAmerican. He spits on Rob Krentz's grave.

Take the losses out of his salary. Not very wise turning against one's own state, particularly when it's paying his bills.

We're in "Avoid Calf.; support Ariz." mode! Arizona has done the country a favor by waking up the indolent negligent Federal Government (not that it will result in them doing their duty). The next step is a lawsuit to collect compensation and reimbursement for doing the Federal government's work for them.

Can you say "replace Grijalva"??? Finally a state (Arizona) with some strong government which is FOR the American people… it's about flippin time. NOW if California will get it's darn head out of the taco and do the same thing- BUT we have too many politically correct bozos. I'm tired of pressing 1 to speak in English!

Same ole same ole with Chicago dirty politics with the democratic party. Can you folks ever talk about issues instead of trying to find dirt on a leading GOP canidate?
I use to be a registered Democrate….dirty politics is why I moved on. Try the issues and finding someone that isn't a front man to run for your party…
