Big Government ACORN Video Puts Media Matters In The Hot Seat

LOS ANGELES (YBH.ME) – The folks over at Big Government are at it again. This time, not only is an ACORN satellite office in Philadelphia in their crosshairs, the new video by James O’Keefe takes direct aim at Media Matters for America and the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Mr. O’Keefe and Hannah Giles, his partner in the now infamous ACORN “sting” videos, once again play a pimp and prostitute seeking advice from ACORN. After the story broke last month news outlets reported that the group was kicked out of several locations where they allegedly tried their ruse. The ACORN Philadelphia office was reported to be one of them.

In fact, Philadelphia ACORN Office Manager Katherine Conway Russell made a rebuttal video on YouTube, that was featured in a Media Matters for America story, where she flatly denies that she helped the young couple. She even states that she “refused to help him” and “called the police”.

Andrew Breitbart, Big Government’s founder, along with both James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. this morning about the videos.

You will notice in the Big Goverment video that Ms. Russell’s voice is muted. Big Government explains Ms. Russell’s silence as follows: “We muted the audio of the ACORN employees on the video released today due to ACORN’s legal attack upon us. We call upon ACORN to state publicly now that it has no objection to the public release of any its employees oral statements to us. If they are interested in the truth, why wouldn’t they do so?”

She called the police and made the police report available to the media. What does it matter if she didn't ask them to leave within 3o seconds or 5 minutes? This whole debate is absurd.

….or so they claim. How would we verify the veracity of ACORN's "police report" and, if the police department wrote a report, how would know if it was filed at the time, or was fraudulently written yesterday? I trust nobody, but…..raw video footage can be very convincing.

I am a real estate agent. Have the pimp character come and ask me about buying a house. Don't worry…. I won't call the cops.
