LOS ANGELES (YBH.ME) – Yesterday, CNN’s Rick Sanchez quoted controversial talk show host Rish Limbaugh as saying “slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back. I’m just saying it had its merits.”

Rush Limbaugh claims he was smeared by CNN.

Rush Limbaugh claims he was smeared by CNN.

On today’s show Mr. Limbaugh vehemently denied that he ever said the quote and that he is working behind the scenes to get an “apology” from CNN and other media outlets that have attributed the quote to him.  Mr. Limbaugh spent much of his three hour broadcast on the topic.

Referring to the open-source internet encylopedia, Wikipedia, where the quote has appeared, Mr Limbaugh said “everyone in the world knows you don’t believe anything on Wikipedia.”

Mr. Limbaugh has been rumored to be part of a team that will purchase the St. Louis Rams football franchise.

Rush exists (and is rich) because conservatives had no voice in main stream media for many years in america. Without the Dan Rathers of the news business NO ONE would have heard of Rush Limbaugh. Thanks Dan.

Rush manages, whether purposely or accidentally, to expose the biased, agenda-driven OLD media for the political hacks that they really are.

Leftist "news" people love to claim Rush and other talk show hosts make mis-statements. They condemn Rush and the others for those alleged mis-statements.
Yet when they themselves are guilty of those kinds of errors, they are quick to brush criticism aside, sweep it under the rug, and just go on about their business, which is apparently to divide America and its people …
Which is doubly funny, when one considers how quick those people are to claim Rush is "divisive."
Gee, wouldn't it be nice — and helpful — if they all, including the talk show hosts, would stick to facts, would stick to ideas and let up on personalities?
    But is it likely?
