LOS ANGELES (YBH.ME) – The Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences with a Master of Public Health Program in June of 2008. Uniformed Services University is part of the Military Health System and is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Also, www.vahealthprovider.com states that Mr. Hasan has been in clinical practice for less than one year. Mr. Hasan served his residency at Walter Reed Hospital from 2001-2007.12 people were killed in the attack on Fort Hood early this afternoon. Mr. Hasan was set to deploy to Iraq for the first time on November 28, 2009.
