WASHINGTON, D.C. (YBH.ME) – Today,  Barack Obama called for an end to “petty politics” in Washington, D.C.   Apparently, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs didn’t get the memo.

Below is video of him mocking Sarah Palin for jotting notes on her hand before a big speech:

Sarah Palin, a quiet contender for the 2012 Republican nomination, has been roundly criticized by those on the left for writing a few simple notes on her hand before a speech last weekend. Mr. Obama himself has come under fire from conservatives for bringing his trusty teleprompter almost everywhere, including a sixth-grade classroom.  Mr. Obama briefed reporters using the teleprompter, not the 12 year-old students. However, the visual was not a flattering one for the President.

A Palin/Obama 2012 match-up would be great for television ratings as the campaign would be hard-fought.   Another phrase for it would be “grudge match”, or is it “fur would fly”?   It would be less great  for the country, as polling suggests that both would-be candidates are increasingly only supported by their respective party’s uber-partisan base.

Sarah Palin's Nashville speech was the most significant oration of the 21st century.

Thank God I am a believer in Jesus Christ or I'd be worried beyond comprehension with the antics of those who, supposedly, represent us in the White House. "Childish" does not even cover it. Gibbs needs to grow up.

Palin's hand job just shows all of us what kind of dullard we are up against, I have not seen this since junior high. WOW and some call her a leader….please.

You need to watch President Obama answer questions at the GOP retreat in Baltimore, no telaprompters or crib notes on the hand. Palin now claims victim status, poor little Beauty Queen from smallville, who could not finish her highest office that she ever held, people real to stop making excuses for her she will only take you down the drain with her. Keep plucketing that chicken. .
