White House Correspondent Helen Thomas Calls for the Jews to Leave Israel (Video)

Fabled writer Helen Thomas has called for the Jews to “get out of Israel.” When pressed on where they should go, Ms. Thomas called for them to move back to Germany and Poland.

A video of Ms. Thomas’ remarks have surfaced on YouTube. Text at the end of the video states that “6 Million Jews Were Killed at Home”. The video was edited, and presumably shot, by an outfit called RabbiLive.com

Israel has been under constant criticism since boarding a Turkish vessel and killing 9 activists on board. Israel has had a long standing blockade against the Gaza Strip and the Turkish boat was attempting to end run the blockade to deliver goods and aid to Gaza.

Ms. Thomas issued a statement today saying, “I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heart-felt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon.”

She is not all that wrong put into a more current perspective with a more accurate historical bent. I do not agree with her, but the Israelis are an occupying nation (nothing new about that), but they invented modern terrorism. They continue intolerance (the government, not neccessarily the people) using brutal and extreme tactics all the while crying that they are the victimns. GET OVER IT. They are a warlike nation taking what they want, harming innocent people as justified collaterial dammage, creating poverty and desparation and are stupid enough to believe that the down trodden won't strike back. It is extreme against extreme. The only path to peace is that all sides must take reasoned approaches including forgiveness and the divine right to exist. The Israelis want it all for themselves and this will never, ever bring peace or resolution.

Israel is the home for the Jews who had no country on earth willing to let them leave Nazi Germany during WWII allowing 6 million to be destroyed by the Germans. My parents lost their families in the Holocaust; no one would let them leave their country and no country would allow them to leave and escape the hell planned for them by the Germans. Including the U.S. who let the ship called the St. Louis go back to Germany to be deported to camps while docked right outside of Miami!!! The Jews were in Israel for 4,000 years and they deserve to have a safe haven to live without having to deal with anti-Semitism. Helen Thomas knows that when the Jews left Germany and Poland they were fleeing with tatoos on their arms from Dachau and Auswisch where most of their families were killed and where most of them nearly died. I notice that most of the People stepping on Helen are Jewish. First of all if you are going to be a Critic on any topic relating to Israel, you should first of all declare that you are Jewish. Secondly, I cannot agree with Helen that all Jews should go back where they came from. But an objective review of Israel's actions over the last 30 years demonstrates that Israel is the New Nazi Regime on the planet. Jimmy Carter made it clear that Israel is practicing Apartheid. I could go on and on with Israel's transgressions but these are always overlooked by the people that control the media. American needs to start hearing from Americans that are more interested in America than in supporting Israel's murderous policies.
