LOVED THIS!!! Murphy hit the nail on the head, and he did it right on msnbc.

LOVED THAT!!! Murphy choked — his answer conveniently ignored Rachel's point that MSNBC has a Joe (knuckle-dragger) Scarborough on for three hours a day. The best you could put up for Fox as a balance to the unbalanced (Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill Orally. etc.) is Shepard Smith, who is not a poster-boy for us liberals, just a decent human being. Rachel made her point — Murphy, not so much.

Nothing new, , Rachel was brilliant on MTP. Murphy failed to answer Rachel's question about the anti-American display by CONserrvatives at the Standard and their flagship network, FROCKS. These so-called patriots delighted in the loss of America's try for the summer games. In their blind hatred for Obama, they prayed that Chicago and the good old USA would not be successful in their bid. We weren't. I guess those CONservative God loving, God fearing patriots wearing their lapel flag pins and/or flying sixteen by sixteen feet American flags from the back of their pickup trucks makes it all right to root against your country. Oh! I forgot, the lament now from the FROCKS crowd is that "We want our country back". Hell is full of hippocrits. Careful Rush Limpbug, you gleefully displayed your true anti-American colors with your hate filled rant about Chicago and the USA losing the bid. Rush, (Mr. Limpbug) while young men (without the excuse of a carbuncle on their ass) are fighting in distant lands for Chicago and the USA to be successful no matter what the challenge, how dare you and your mindless sycophants be such unAmerican bastards.

Anyone, please… My question is "WHY".. HealthCare without a Public Option or Single Payer is absurd. Ponder this, the population of the US is approximately 330 million people. Of that number approx. 223 million are over 18 and 37 million are 65+. If it was mandated by law that EVERY American over 18 pay $100 PER YEAR for Health coverage, the Government (as Single Payer) would collect approx. 22 trillion per year. I think I read that the cost for current HealthCare is approx 2.1 trillion per year??? Am I missing something here?? It's late and I might be using fuzzy math. If I am right, why the endless debates creating thousands of pages of new laws, exceptions and loopholes? This is all theatre, and when the curtain drops we will discover that we were not the audience but part of the cast. After all, isn't this all about US???

i dont agree with mike's politics, but he's right. msnbc is niche news, pro-wrestler reporting, just like fox. and to those who say he ignored her point, he didn't, he refined his statement to the primetime hours, when both are most watched, not the wee hours of the morning.

i dont watch msnbc, cos i dont learn anything. i watch fox, because knowing what your enemies think arms you for debate. instead of watching some pillow-headed douchebag talk in a dracula voice with halloween music in the background bitching about people he hates.

MTP is one of the few shows i really, really like, because you never know what youll get. unlike msnbc or fox, the only agenda this show has is to learn more, not cheerlead a certain idealism.

    maddow was owned.

and yes i am a liberal, and i hate msnbc. it isn't fair and balanced, sorry. i'm not saying they outright lie, like fox, however.

I loved Mike Murphy and David Brooks' points during the show. They both denounced the shrill tone of Limbaugh, Beck, etc. only to Maddow continually spew the same partisan garbage they do. In this case, the conservatives showed to be the grown-ups. Both sides have their fringe. If you say that all politicians are crooks or merely flawed public servants with the best interest of the public, you have credility. Once a pundit/talk show host continually attachs the left or right, don't they lose all credibility with you people?? Since Limbaugh/Maddow don't agree with even one thing that Obama/Bush stand for, they are hopelessly out of touch with 90% of America. Scarborough is MSNBC's Alan Colmes. I only feel bad that MTP has to stoop to putting her on to prop up the failing MSNBC.
