Obama Slams Supreme Court, Alito Fights Back (Video)

Washington, D.C. (YBH.ME) – Tonight President Obama publicly rebuked the Supreme Court’s recent decision to gut McCain-Feingold campaign election finance laws.

After the rebuke, which the President said “turned over a century of legislation, Justice Samuel Alito mouthed the words “That’s not true.”

Look for the political class to debate the meaning and/or the appropriateness of either Mr. Obama’s remarks or Mr. Alito’s quiet comeback in coming days.

Even though politifact rates the supreme vourt ruling statement obama made as barely true, are we going to trust a legal analysis to them. They are not constitutional lawyers, I saw this article that details it

no, anyone who does not fight against the torrent of money that seems to flood and ultimately buy our electoral process is a traitor. Obama has nothing to do with it. Do you approve of the recent supreme court ruling?

The leftists are always defenders of the first amendment until it gets in the way of their agenda. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds…

"no, anyone who does not fight against the torrent of money that seems to flood and ultimately buy our electoral process is a traitor. Obama has nothing to do with it."

It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.

The case that brought this to the supreme court was a film maker who made a "documentary" on Hillary and yet, was not allowed to air the documentary (it was literally stifled) because of it's political content and its proximity to an election.

How outrageous is that, a filmakers film could not be shown in the US because of political content?

And you, person of the quote, are going to stand there and scream that certain films and commercials should be shut down do to political content and who made them…shame on you and shame on everyone that calls themselves a U.S. citizen for not standing up for free speech.

Chances are, like the President, most of you who are upset with the ruling, have no real idea what the ruling was about in the first place, your just parroting someone else.

You may not like the messae, but that shouldn't mean the messenger should be stifled. I cannot stand Michael Moore, but he is entitled to put out a film anyday of the week political or not.
