WASHINGTON, D.C. (YBH.ME) – President Obama’s approval rating is back over the majority mark according to Gallup’s latest tracking poll.  The President’s numbers now stand at 51% Approval with 42% Disapproval.

Real Clear Politics also has President Obama over the 50% mark in their latest poll.  However, it is by the slightest margin at 50.1%.  The President’s numbers are lowest at Rasmussen with 46% of respondents approving of the President’s performance and 54% disapproving.

Overall, the President’s popularity continues to trend downward as a controversial health care takeover is contemplated in the senate and a troop build up in Afghanistan was announced this week.  Both issues have made the President unpopular with different segments of the American public.

It will be interesting to see his ratings in the polls when the Health Bill gets passed and the cap and tax bill,I bet it tanks into the single digits they will be ready to run him out on a rail when it starts hitting their paychecks and they have nothing left to live on.
