WASHINGTON, D.C. (YBH.ME) – White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced that President Barack Obama has canceled a long planned trip to Australia and Indonesia. The trip is tentatively planned now for June.
Mr. Obama has long planned to return to Indonesia with his family to revisit the area where he grew up in Jakarta.
Mr. Gibbs said that chances were too great that the House wouldn’t finish its health care business by Sunday morning and pushing back at that point would defy common sense and “manners.”
