Barack Obama told a group of supporters in New York Tuesday that “you know the other [republican] side they just kind a sometimes do what they are told. Democrats y’all thinking for yourselves.”
Let me get this right. Those that blindly follow you and your platform are thinking for themselves and those that disagree with you “do what they are told.”
Not exactly the unifier the American public was sold during the 2008 election cycle. Mr. Obama is leading us down a dangerously divisive path. YBH asks what is the end game here Mr. President?
Almost 59 million Americans didn’t vote for Barack Obama, it would be wise of the man from Hope, Kansas to remember that. It is unclear to us how the President will govern if the GOP manages to win back seats next November. Scorched earth policy didn’t work for George W. Bush, and it certainly won’t work for Barack Obama.
Mr. Obama continued “I like that in you. But, it’s time for us to make sure we finish the job here. We are this close and we’ve got to be unified.” Finish what job? I think Mr. Obama is talking more about a permanent Democrat majority than a health care bill. Socialized medicine, EFCA, immigration reform, a rigged census, all, if rammed through in their current form, will lead to Mr. Obama’s party staying in power in perpetuity.
He is telling his supporters to keep quiet go along with Rahm and I, soon this whole thing will legally be ours for good.
Will the Republicans stand up to Mr. Obama and the White House Media Complex and fight back? As they used to say during a church wedding, “speak now or forever hold your peace.” Are you listening Ms. Snowe (D-Maine)?
