DEARBORN (YBH.ME) – A Fox 2 Detroit reporter and photographer were attacked outside a Dearborn house last night as they attempted to shoot pictures of the building. The house served as the new mosque of the Imam killed by the FBI yesterday.

Brad Edwards and team were attempting to do background on the home/mosque. When Fox 2 and another TV crew arrived things grew tense and spilled over into violence. Video currently showing on Fox 2 Detroit (full video below) chronicles the whole incident. Police later stormed a house where they believed the suspected assaulter was hiding. A search of the premises revealed he was in fact not in the house. Fox 2 claims that thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment was destroyed in the incident.
Ameen Abdullah, a.k.a. Christopher Thomas was the Imam of the Masjid Al-Haqq mosque. He was killed yesterday, at a different location, after allegedly firing a gun at the FBI.
