NEW YORK (YBH.ME) – Tennis star Serena Williams lost her cool yesterday during the U.S. Open Women’s semi-final match with Kim Clijsters of Belgium. After receiving a foot foul call, Ms. Williams gave the line judge who made the call a piece of her mind.

It is impossible from the video below to decipher exactly what Ms. Williams said to the line judge, but she does approach her on more than one occasion with her racket outstretched in what could be viewed as an aggressive manner.

Full video of the incident:

The foot foul, combined with an additional penalty for yelling at the line judge, was enough to end the game and the match. Williams had received an earlier warning for smashing a racket. Clijsters will play Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki in the U.S. Open final today.

Serena Williams is one Grand Slam singles title away from tying Billie Jean King’s record of 12.

She should know better than lash out at the judge, who is just doing her job. She should've have been more calm and handled it more carefully. How many years has she been playing tennis? she should know what to do and what not to do. it's a really big disappointment coming from a renowned athlete.
