(YBH) – There has been  a lot of controversy over the Shirley Sherrod race comments and her subsequent firing from the USDA.  Below is the full video of Ms. Sherrod’s comments.

Skip ahead to the 17:00 minute mark to see the entire “white farmer” story.  Ms. Sherrod’s story is actually one of enlightenment and change of character:

While Ms. Sherrod does point out the fact that she withheld her full abilities from the farmer because he was white, she then goes on to talk about the change of heart she had once she saw the plight of the farmer after he went to a “white” attorney, or one of his “own kind”, as she put it during her speech.

In Ms. Sherrod’s opinion, the attorney offered no real help to the farmer while extracting six months of legal fees from the man and his family.  Ms. Sherrod also describes the complete apathy of the attorney toward his client.  In the end, it was Ms. Sherrod who helped save the farm from foreclosure.

Ms. Sherrod used the episode to describe how she got beyond race in her thinking, and began to see that the real issue in her world was rich and poor.  The farmer, Roger Spooner, and his wife, spoke out in defense of Ms. Sherrod today.  Ms. Sherrod also went on CNN today to defend herself.

The NAACP, BigGovernment.com, and the Obama administration all jumped the gun on this one.  The finger-pointing has begun, with the NAACP claiming they were snookered by both BigGovernment.com and Fox News.  It is unclear what, if any, role Fox News played in the whole affair.  Andrew Breitbart appeared on Sean Hannity’s show tonight to discuss the issue and race in general in modern America.

Race has come to the forefront of the American dialogue with the Obama Administration’s recent decision to drop charges against members of the New Black Panther party who intimidated voters outside of a Pennsylvania polling station in 2008.

Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsak, issued a statement today standing behind the firing.

This woman is a racist plain and simple. She has a job where she is suppose to help Americans. She was the one who said she helped blacks more then whites. Her thinking is skewed and it is all over the government.

Then she sees the light when she goes to the white attorney? What happen if she never went to that white attorney to witness what all attorney's do to their clients. Would she have a change of heart?

Robert Byrd had a change of heart too, just so he can stay elected and he did his public Mea culpa. This is all phony BS by people with no moral compass and the ends justify the means. MONEY and POWER this is their drug.

The bottom line here is this woman is an American who works for the American government. She is paid by all Americans so she can help ALL AMERICANS. Now tell me where color, religion come into this equation. She opened her big mouth and revealed to us her hatred for 'whitey' then she had an epiphany! Then she did everything in her power to help the poor white farmer. This isn't about black or white, rich or poor. This is about an American farmer going to a government office to get help from his fellow Americans, through a system that is suppose to be run by Americans for Americans. She was suppose to help him, that is what she gets her fee for.

She tells this story as if she is some hero how she helped the poor white farmer. This is what leftist liberalism has done to this country, its drunk on race.
