OPINION: Will Ferrell Calls it Quits on Being Funny, Begins Shilling for Government

The wonderfully non-partisan Huffington Post (sarcasm) is running a piece this morning highlighting a MoveOn.org video starring Will Ferrell and a host of B-list actors. In the clip Ferrell and the wannabes sincerely plead for Americans to fight back to save the profits of the “poor” insurance companies.

Throughout the clip the group drops in left-wing talking points like 80% of America supports the public option. Oh really? Q and O debunks the 80% number pretty easily.  The video is meant to be clever and funny (it is neither), but in reality it is pure propaganda.

In light of the brewing NEA scandal it is awesome to see the liberal art shock troops in action. The creepiness of artists shilling for the state is terrifying.  Full video below:

Will Ferrell has been wading into partisan politics quite a bit lately.  That is a shame, because he used to be incredibly funny.
